October 03, 2012 – Courtney, B.C. native Nigel Ellsay was named to the French U23 road cycling squad, Sojasun Espoir Team, in an announcement yesterday. Ellsay, 18, made his mark on the cycling world this year, taking time trial top honours in France’s Ronde des Vallees junior UCI road race and winning the Canadian Junior Men’s Time Trial title after placing second in 2011.

Ellsay joins new recruits Frédéric Guillemot, Franck Lemonnier, Joseph Verrier, Sean Hambrook, and Rodolphe Marie.
