August 22, 2016 (Netherlands) – Team RaceClean Canada’s William Elliott captured an awesome victory winning the final 152.6km Stage 5 in Maarkedal on Sunday at Ronde van Oost-Vlaanderen to claim the overall GC as well along with the Pavées title plus Team RaceClean Canada took home team classification win.

Elliott’s teammate Ed Walsh finished 2nd on the final stage for a 1-2 Canadian podium finish and was 5th overall. “Huge shoutout to my selfless teammate @edward__walsh for driving the break and setting me for both the win on the day/Overall #TeamWin #RVOV,” tweeted Elliott.
