May 24, 2019 (Nove Mesto, CZE) – Peter Disera (Norco Factory Team) led the Canadian charge finishing a strong 7th in the Elite Men’s XCC on Friday evening at Nove Mesto as Mathieu Van Der Poel (NED) Corendon-Circus topped the field again. Disera earned a front row spot for Sunday’s XCO race. Teammate Haley Smith was the top Canuck in the women’s race, finishing 14th as Chloe Woodruff (Team USA) powered to a solo victory.
