May 8, 2007 — Kiara Bisaro (Opus) has won the third event of the Open de Espana Maxxis in Ager (Lleida) on Sunday, May 6, with a comfortable lead over a field of Spanish women.

The race, held in the Noguera region in the Catalan Pyrenees, consisted of three laps of 10.1km circuit completed by Bisaro in 1:37:55. She crossed the finish line on her Opus Fhast 1 with a large gap on the second and third Spanish racers that apparently didn’t recognized Bisaro at the start and didn’t react when she attacked after less than 2 kms into the race.

Bisaro continues her European racing tour this Sunday in Switzerland at the Swisspower cup in Hasliberg. In between she’ll be training in Montolieu (Aude) in the South of France.
