June 09, 2019 (Leogang, AUT) – Canada’s Bailey Goldstone from B.C., racing at her first World Cup, crashed today in the Junior Women’s DH final near the finishline jump and crossed the line in 10th but was air-lifted to hospital. According to Fraser Britton, our photo-journalist reporter on-site, “Her dad says nothing is broken, but they did X-rays and ultrasounds and are keeping her overnight for precautionary reasons.” Goldstone placed 7th in the Seeding Runs on Friday and Pedal joins the cycling community in wishing her a speedy recovery.
