October 29, 2008 – For this project two young (U23) racers from Canada and myself will be joining a Dutch race team: Team Jan Terpstra. The idea of the project started about one year ago between this team and I and it will officially start this December and run until February 2009 in Holland/The Netherlands.

“Canada House in Holland” is going to provide a few Canadian cyclocross racers everything they need including facilities, technical guidance, race equipment i.e. Ridley Bikes, and most important rider development and the experience of racing ‘cross at the highest level at international ‘cross races in Holland and Belgium, for a Dutch Team – Team Jan Terpstra.

This project has the potential to grow into something really nice for Canadian ‘cross racers and Canada’s ‘cross scene!

This season Brian Robinson and Andrew Thomas, two guys within TTP (Tim’s Training Program), will join me in Holland to race ‘cross leading up to the Cyclocross World Championships in Hoogerheide (Holland).
