June 5, 2004 (Ridge Meadwos, BC) – Jason Richardson made the trip from California to Ridge
Meadows, B.C. to take on the Canadians and earn some valuable
UCI Continental points and made his Canadian debut a good
one. Chalk up a big win in the Pro-Elite Men’s class for
J-Rich on Saturday who was kept honest by Cory Banks and
Washington Pro Eric Meyer. Richardson, who rides for
Crupi won the race uncontested while Diamondbacks Cory
Banks took a solid second.

Kurt Pascheit, who took a solid fourth in Pro-Elite Men, went
on to win the Pro-Elite Cruiser class ahead of Adam Muys
with a few heavies missing due to bike failure and race
commitements. World Junior Champion Samantha Cools of
Airdrie, Alberta handled the Pro-Elite Women’s class.

Scott Erwood of B.C. won all four National Junior Team Qualifier
motos and earned the first male spot on the Team headed for
the UCI World Championships Holland in July. Aaron Lepp
and Patrick Lebel of Alberta rode in for 2nd and 3rd while
Everett Hoath secured 4th.
