April 4, 2008 – The Symmetrics team has received quite a few emails concerning Cam Evans’ ride in yesterday’s Redlands opener, wondering why the Canadian champ finished dead last, and very far behind the winner, Rory Sutherland. Just to let followers of the team know, after his win at San Dimas, Cam came down with an illness and has had a fever all week.

He rode the TT at an easy pace so he could ride well in the road race. The doctors discovered that he had a caught a bug and in order to speed up his recovery, have prescribed some anti-biotics. Cam is already feeling better and hopes to come around in the coming stages at Redlands.
