January 6, 2008 (Montreal, QC) – Calyon is back in 2008, once again with continental status. The team has been rejuvenated with the arrival of the 27-year-old American Mike Norton (Rite Aid Pro Cycling in 2007) as team captain, Mathieu Roy (EVA-Devinci in 2007), Matt Bell (Cyclissimo in 2007), David Bergeron (Bluberri/Martin Swiss in 2007) and William Goodfellow (Volkswagen-Trek in 2007). They join returning team members Matthew Guse, Charly Vives and Maxime Vives.
The season has started with the Burnaby Six Day 2008 where brothers Charly and Maxime Vives, together with new recruits Mike Norton and William Goodfellow are participating. Afterwards there will be a quick trip to the sun – probably to Cuba – to better prepare for the season and for the international races in Europe where the team will compete.
Calyon is riding on Cervélo bikes in 2008.
