October 3, 2009 (Nazareth, Belgium) – Cadel Evans (Silence-Lotto), the first Australian to win the Elite men’s road race, at the road world cycling championships held in Mendrisio, Switzerland on Sept. 27, was honoured at a Silence-Lotto cycling team press conference held at parent company, Omega Pharma’s headquarters in Nazareth, Belgium on October 1.
