December 31, 2008 – Today, Jeremy and I went to the track and inspected the building. The roof has collapsed completely and has been punctured in multiple spots. At this point it appears that the track riding surface is okay but it hard to be 100% certain until the roof can be re-inflated. The railing of the track has been damaged in four places. All bikes at the track are okay and undamaged. I ask that members to please not go on site to retrieve any possessions as it remains a safety concern in that there are tripping hazards everywhere and virtually no light.

Should anyone be interested/willing to help with clean up, please contact me and I will put you in touch with those organizing the effort. The track will be closed for the next couple of weeks. Please disregard any scheduled hours until otherwise stated.
