July 8, 2004 – Bicycle Sports Pacific in downtown Vancouver will host its 15th Anniversary celebration on July 10, and along with Cannondale would like to offer area cyclists the opportunity to test-ride a range of high-performance Cannondale mountain and road racing bicycles, including the all new Six13.
The Six13 is the same bike that pro cycling team Saeco/Cannondale just rode to a second straight Giro d’Italia win.
“Cycling technology has undergone an amazing revolution in recent years. These are some of the lightest, fastest and yet, most comfortable bicycles ever,” explained Rhys Pickup, Bicycle Sports Pacific manager. “Whether someone is a serious cyclist, or just thinking about getting back into cycling for fun and fitness, this is a fantastic opportunity to try the very latest innovations.” Anyone interested in test-riding a Cannondale should bring a photo ID and a helmet.
Cannondale Pro Team sponsor, Saeco, will also be at BSP this Saturday, serving up free espresso (to get you primed for your test ride) and you can enter to win a weekend for two at the Westin Resort and Spa in Whistler.
If you can’t make it July 10, the Cannondale demo truck and the Six13s will be at BSP’s North Van store on July 11 and at the UBC Tuesday Night Race on July 20 from 5:30 p.m. on. Then you’ll have another chance to check them out at the Gastown Grand Prix, July 21 and at Crankworks in Whistler, July 22 -25.
