May 8, 2011 (Bristol, New York) – Hey Folks, even the mid-race storm didn’t detour Susan P-K from an impressive solo victory at the Bristol Mountain road race. Sue’s teammates Suzie B & Laura H are showing signs of convalescence from a stubborn cough and finished 5th & 9th respectively. Jim Hutcheson, not to be outdone, went solo and won the Masters 55 category. Both racers technically won the NY state championships but are obviously non-residents.

My glory was to elude being lapped by Susan who started 5 minutes behind my Masters 45 group ( she missed by 45 seconds ). I finished 25th, just glad to finish.

OK, we are riding tomorrow at 9:30 am and riding out easy to Rattlesnake and back. Probably, 95km, come out and join the Mother’s Day Cruise.
