April 14, 2018 (San Dimas, California) – Catharine Pendrel (Can) Clif Pro Team took home another early podium finishing 3rd in the Elite/U23 women’s 6-lap race won by Erin Huck (USA) CZ Racing-SCOTT. Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, Haley Smith (Norco Factory Team), was 5th, Sandra Walter (Can) Liv Cycling Canada finished 7th and Emily Batty (Can) Trek Factory Racing Team was 9th for four Canucks in the top 10.

In the Junior women’s 4-lap race Canada’s Mireille Larose Gingras (Equipe du Québec/ Club Mathieu) raced to third with Marianne Theberge (Can) Club Cycliste Mont-Sainte 4th and Roxane Vermette (Can) Team Bianci/Varbergs MTB in 5th.
