July 23, 2004 – The World Cruiser racing started at 9am today with more than 80 motos of the big wheels. Canada’s Tory Nyhaug (Avent) ripped his way through the motos in the 12 & Under class and dominated an almost all European final on his way to the #1 plate. Peter Jensen racing in 45+ Cruiser (Proworks) was on a winning streak but a bad start in the final put Jensen in 6th coming out of turn one. One-by-one Jensen rode past the field and finished with the #2 title.
In the girl’s 12 & Under class Samantha Cools (Supercross), the reigning #1, had troubles coming out of the gate and finished near the back (7th – Unofficial).
Dillon Sweeney came close to making the mains finishing fifth in a tough race.
Next up is the Junior and Elite Cruiser classes.. stay tuned. Canada has Aaron Lepp, Patrick Lebel, Scott Erwood and #1 Samantha Cools in the Junior classes.
