July 24, 2004 – Challenge Class (Amateur) racing is over and Canada now has three World Plates. Tory Nyhaug blasted the 12 boys class on his way to a repeat #1 title. Paige Zarazun of BC claimed the rights to the #2 behind the reigning #1 Netherlands Champion in 10 girls. Abby Graalman of Alberta had a strong race finishing 6th in her final.
