May 11, 2011 – Jeff Reid of Bikes for Cuba just returned from Cuba and while there the junior team in Banes hosted a great competition with teams coming from Las Tunas, Guantanamo, Santiago and Holguin City. It was a short criterium with juniors, women and a senior elite class.

So far Bikes for Cuba has delivered 60 good road bikes and lots of gear to happy kids in Cuba, all thanks to caring Canadians that donated these items.

The project is ongoing and Bikes for Cuba is now spreading the donations to other centers that are developing teams of their own.
