March 01, 2012 (Mississauga, ON) – Bike 4 Betty is an annual cycling event and family festival that raises funds in support of cancer care services at Trillium Health Centre’s Betty Wallace Women’s Health Centre and the Betty and Buster Lockwood Cancer Detection and Treatment Centre. The cycling event kicks-off the day’s festivities – with a variety of distance options for participants – and is followed by a fun family festival that includes a barbeque and activities for people of all ages! 100% of all pledges raised goes toward supporting cancer care services at Trillium.
Get out your bikes, bring along your family and friends, and show us the hero in you! Join us on Sunday, May 27th for our fifth annual Bike 4 Betty!
Beginning and ending at Port Credit Memorial Park in Mississauga, Bike 4 Betty has something for everyone. Choose from the leisurely 2k-ride perfect for families with young children, or challenge yourself with the 100k route. In total, there are five distances to choose from: 2k, 15k, 30k, 75k or 100k!
Together, we will reach our goal
Our goal is to raise $250,000 for cancer care services at Trillium Health Centre… and we need your help to do it! Registration is FREE, and 100% of all pledges raised will support cancer care services at Trillium.
There are many ways to participate. You can register as an individual, or participate as a group with family, friends or co-workers in our Team Challenge! When you register as a team of 10 or more, you get your very own personalized team t-shirt!
