Nutrition and Recovery Workshops in Saskatchewan
Nutrition and Recovery Workshops- The recovery nutrition session will focus on nutrient intake timing for optimal recovery from both aerobic and strength training. The athletes will have an opportunity to share their own nutrition strategies for recovery and we will discuss the barriers to optimal recovery nutrition and develop realistic strategies to deal with these barriers.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Bicycle Newfoundland & Labrador would like to invite all current and past members of the association, new and prospective members for the 2010 season, the cycling community at large, and any members of the public interested in the sport of cycling to the association‚s 2009 Annual General Meeting to be held at the Mount Pearl Soccer Hut, Arena Road on the evening of Wednesday 27 January 2010, beginning at 7pm.

BNL is seeking to fill two vacant Director positions (Vice-President MTB and Vice-President Marketing & Communications) as well as a new Director position (Vice-President Recreation and Transportation), and will accept written nominations received on or before Monday 25 January 2010. Nominations for any vacant position will be accepted from the floor only if no written nominations have been received.

The Board of Directors will vote on any recommended changes to the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association, and on any proposed resolutions, received on or before Monday 25 January 2010.
