May 13, 2006 – Here is some news about a SORCA Group ride being held Saturday June 3 in Squamish, BC:

So, year five for BVOD. This event continually evolves and this year is no different.

On June 3rd we will be touring the granite maze of Valleycliffe. Simply put it’s a deluxe group ride of the granite maze that is Valleycliffe. We’ll push and pedal up five peaks of the most bang for your buck riding around. Of course the fruit booth is back where we will feast on delicious melons and refreshments half way through. Then, like all epic rides should, it ends with a Brew Pub party (minors welcome) including specials and literally mountains of great prizes.

This year, like years previous, it’s classified as a SORCA group ride so all Cycling BC Affiliated clubs are invited to partake.

The course is weather dependent but either way it’s five peaks of “˜the goods’.

Riders should have armor and be comfortable on technical trails.

Saturday June 3 11:00 @ top of Westway Ave. Squamish.
Event open to all Cycling BC clubs (SORCA, NSMBA, WORCA etc”¦)
Cost: $25 in advance $35 at the trail head with proceeds to Search & Rescue / SORCA.
