Bessette Supports Team expresscopy.com’s Fit Spirit Program

January 9, 2007 (New York, NY) — Team expresscopy.com is proud to announce another prestigious endorsement for its Fit Spirit program. Already supported by the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, the program will also benefits from the implication of Lyne Bessette. She will take an active participation as a guest speaker in the series of conference that will be organized in school to encourage teenage girls to exercise more, and to lead healthy and well-balanced lives.

The official announcement of this new collaboration was made in Montreal January 5th during the popular television show Salut, Bonjour. At this occasion, Stéphanie Bourbeau, Quebec time-trial champion, and Joëlle Numainville, three times Canadian junior champion, presented the objectives they will aim for in the coming season. A few words about Lyne Bessette
With five Canadian championships, Lyne Bessette has been one of the best cyclists of the last decade. She has shown her talents on the roads of Europe and America and she also earned a solid reputation as a cyclocross competitor. She now concentrates on track events.

Expresscopy.com is the only Canadian women cycling team with a UCI professional licence. In 2007, the riders of the team will take part in about one hundred international races in America and Europe . The Elite squad looks forward to the 2008 Olympics. It is composed of Audrey Lemieux, member of the Canadian national team, Gina Grain, 2006 world track championship silver medalist, Anne Samplonius, Erinne Willock, American Jessica Phillips and New-Zelander Melissa Holt.
