November 10, 2014 – Canada’s Emily Batty (Trek Factory Racing) and Geoff Kabush (Scott-3Rox Racing) finished second in the elite women’s and men’s competitions, respectively, at the 2014 Bell’s Beer Iceman Cometh Challenge point-to-point MTB race this past Saturday. The race started in downtown Kalkaska, Michigan and finished 29 miles later at Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort on the eastern edge of Traverse City, Michigan. Georgia Gould (USA) Luna Pro Team took the women’s race, while Brian Matter (USA) KS Energy Services/Team Wisconsin Cycling won his fourth Iceman title in his 21st time competing in the event.
Other notable Canadian results include Derek Zandra (Can) Scott-3Rox Racing in third and Cameron Jette (Can) 3Rox Racing seventh in the pro/elite men’s category.
