August 18, 2003 (Squamish, BC) – Matt Usborne (Symmetrics) picked up his second provincial title Sunday at the BC Provincial Time Trial Championships, hosted by Team Escape Velocity in Squamish, BC. Usborne beat Symmetrics teammate Min Van Velzen and Canadian National Masters TT bronze medalist, John Tolkamp (Escape Velocity) for the win, adding to his BC Road Champion title of earlier this year.

Leah Goldstein (Kappa) defeated Canadian National Masters TT and Road champion Pamela Egger (Escape Velocity) and local rider Moriah McGregor (Dizzy Cycles) for her Provincial title in the women's event.

Bradley Fairall (Rocky Mountain), fresh off his selection for the Canadian World's mountain bike team, demonstrated his form on the road with his win in the Junior Men's category. Ukraine rider Illya Voskovsky and local Trevor Mahon took silver and bronze.

The 37km out and back course followed the Squamish river. Perfect conditions produced some fast times, with the temperature reaching the high 20's / low 30's and very little wind.
