February 19, 2007 – Our goal is to win the National Championships and the Western Canada Games, and to place as many riders as possible on the National team for the Junior World Championships.
To reach this goal, we will be selecting the strongest riders in the Province who have a strong possibility of winning our targeted events. We will provide them with preparation training camps and race support at the Junior National Championships and Western Canada Games.
The following criteria define the selection method for this program. Rankings will be determined by tests at training camps (same points awarded as races) as well as race results, as outlined below. The final list of selected athletes will be released on June 13th, 2007.
