March 1, 2007 – A note to riders competing at the BC Spring Series starting this Sunday March 4. To ease congestion at sign on please have your licence or receipt ready, exact change would help greatly and please have waiver and entry from filled out in advance. These forms and fees and all race information can be found at www.escapevelocity.bc.ca

For racing there are 5 different ways to sign on:

1. UCI licence or copy of receipt and pay entry ( simplest )

2. You are a member of an affiliated CBC club (proof required) and you then buy an EV event membership for $30 and pay the entry fee. This option will allow you to race any EV multi-club sanction race in 2007 such as the entire Sprint Series or the UBC Tuesday night races. It is a one time fee. $8 of this goes to CBC for club affiliation.

3.You are not a member of an affiliated CBC club and you then buy an EV event membership for $58 and pay the entry fee. This option will allow you to race any EV multi-club sanction race in 2007 such as the entire Sprint Series or the UBC Tuesday night races. It is a one time fee. $28 of this goes to CBC for insurance and club affiliation.

4.You are a member of an affiliated CBC club (proof required) and you then buy a $10 one event membership on-site from CBC and pay the entry fee. This is per event fee.

5.You are not a member of an affiliated CBC club and you then buy a $30 one event membership on-site from CBC and pay the entry fee. This is per event fee.
