June 14, 2003 (Mission, BC) –  The BC Road Championships took place yesterday in Mission, BC at the Norm Lowe Memorial Road Race – it was also the fourth round of the SISU BC Cup road series. New champions were crowned in the senior/junior men's and women's races.

Matt Usbourne finished the men's 165km road course to take the gold. In the women's 105km race it was Alison Testroete who finished at the top of the podium with the women's title.

In the junior men's and women's races the gold stayed in the family when the Cooper brother/sister team – Marsh and Naomi – won their respective races in the men's 120 km and women's 60 km events.
