September 28, 2010 (Vancouver, BC) – A waterfront and mountain view, sand, gravel, dirt, grass, run-ups, hurdles, lots of sweeping turns, and a several nasty sharp ones… The New Brighton Cyclocross race is a definite classic on the cross circuit. In 2008, Team Wedgewood hosted the inaugural at New Brighton Park, an eleven hectare multi-use ocean-front park in East Vancouver. For 2010 the team is planning yet another sweet Euro spectator-friendly parcours. Mark your calendar for “a date with dirt”. Saturday, October 2 is the day. It’s time to train. Registration and sign-on closes 30 minutes prior to each race.

– Cat 4 Men (1 minute gap)
– Citizen and U17 Men & Women
– 30 minute race

11:40 am
– Kids Cross (ages 10 and under) Free
– A fun short course, all types of bikes are welcome!

12:00 pm
– Cat 3 Men (1 minute gap)
– Women
– 40 minute race

1:00 pm
– Cat 1 / 2 Men (1 minute gap)
– Men 35+
– 60/45 minute race
