November 11, 2006 – All Members Invited to a Meeting with the Provincial Coach Regarding Road, Track, MTB, and CX Clubs and Teams on Sunday, November 26th at 10am in the Sport BC Building

As the new Provincial Coach and High Performance Director, I would like to invite you and your club to be part of an open discussion and forum on Sunday November 26th at 10am, discussing the best ways to utilize the cycling resources available to the clubs in British Columbia.

One of my main goals as the new Provincial Coach is to create open lines of communication between members and Cycling BC. I believe there is a vast amount of knowledge within the cycling community, and I would like to make sure that we make the most of it.

I urge you to please attend the meeting and make your opinions known to me about how things are for you and your club/team at the moment in BC, and what changes need to happen for 2007 and beyond. If Clubs and Teams could arrange to send only two members as representatives, it would help us to ensure the maximum number of people are able to attend.

The meeting will be held at Sport BC, in Vancouver located at 1367 W. Broadway — If there is a enthusiastic response, we may need to change venues, however give advanced notice will be given.

I really hope to see as many people as possible. If you are able to attend please reply to richard@cycling.bc.ca by the 10th of November. I’ll hold a separate meeting for BMX members shortly.
