BMX ID Camp
Cycling BC held a BMX talent ID camp in Abbotsford on November 17. Thirty athletes 13 to 26 years of age turned up to be tested and show their stuff to Head Provincial coach Richard Wooles and BMX Provincial coach Adam Muys. The Camp started with the athletes warming up and then being tested on 10 metre and 30 metre sprints.
Following the sprints the athletes placed into groups based on their times and they raced each other. After several races the athletes were timing in a full lap pf the indoor track.
The camp ended with a short talk from Head Provincial coach Richard Wooles. Information about the selection on the BC provincial team and the Jr. Provincial team will be available shortly.
