November 3, 2010 (North Vancouver, BC) – We hope you’re still out there riding. For us, Fall is all about planning the best week of your life on your mountain bike! We have a lot of exciting changes for 2011, including a new stage! Entries are selling quickly right now and we’re well ahead on the number of registered racers in comparison to last year, so we’re expecting an early Sell Out. Already, we have over fifteen countries represented, including Australia, Germany, Venezuela, South Africa, and Singapore. If you’re thinking about competing in the 2011 BC Bike Race, we still have spots available, currently $200 off, so get your training started!

We are pumped for the 2011 race and you should be too!

New Stage – Campbell River!
BC Bike Race has never used the exact same race route twice. Why? We feel that epic stage races should always be searching out new trails and new routes, revisiting old ones, but constantly be striving for the best Race Week Experience possible!

This is why we’ve decided to hold a new stage in Campbell River. The diverse and extensive trail network through the Snowden Forest offers yet another flavour of delicious singletrack to the 2011 Route. You’ll relish in Campbell River Classics like Lost Frog, Mudhoney Pass, and the Riley Lake Trail. Want to see what we’re talking about? Check out Dave Norona’s video!

After conquering the epic trails, you’ll arrive at what is bound to be our best Base Camp ever! Robert Ostler Park is on the Ocean, beside the seawalk, surrounded by totem poles, and steps away from all the restaurants, shops, and services you could ever need.
