February 28, 2007 – Free Form Media is proud to present Battlegrounds, its second full-length movie. Free Form – creator of Entrails – undertook the project in conjunction with Dropmachine and Sirbikealot Racing and Promotions.

Battlegrounds is a documentary of the 2006 DH race season and it follows some of Ontario’s top riders as they compete in their home province, Canada and World Cups. The film sees the riders battling against the difficulties of course conditions, travel, terrain, injuries and their own psyches in order to compete in a sport that they are passionate about.

Filled with action from across the country, the film features insight from racers who are seasoned veterans, dedicated pros and junior up-and-comers. They all share the same goals and face the same challenges.

Battlegrounds is being distrubuted by Ryeka Sports and the world premiere will be held on their big screen by their booth at the Toronto International Bike show on Friday March 2, 2007 at 7:00 pm.

There will be a second viewing on Saturday, March 3 at 6:00 pm.
