October 8, 2006 – There is some sad news for Spanish cycling fans today. 21-year old Spanish rider Julen Goikoetxea died after jumping off a balcony in Ondarroa, the Basque Country. The rider was under treatment for depression, after signing for Euskatel-Euskadi for the 2007 season.
