May 19, 2008 (Wilmington, Delaware) – Canada’s David Veilleux (Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast) finished 2nd at the 72km/45-mile Grand Prix criterium on Saturday won by Scott Zwizanski (US) Bissell Pro Cycling with Tyler Wren (Colavita/Sutter Home) in third (we reported earlier in a Flash report the Veilleux was 3rd but and have since corrected this). The women’s 48km/30-mile race was won by Laura McCaughey (Juice Plus/NC Racing) with Jennifer McRae (Advil-Chapstick) in second and Laura Van Gilder (Cheerwine Cycling) in third. Only the top 35 men of 92 registered men and 48 registered women.
