September 5, 2003 – After an apparent reconcilliation before this year's Tour de France in July, Lance and Kristin Armstrong have separated again and plan to divorce according to a report in the Austin American-Statesman. This comes after a rocky break-up in the spring, which many thought might have an effect on Armstrong's fifth Tour bid. The Armstrongs have been married for five years and have endured many ups and downs including Lance's bout with testicular cancer. The couple have three children, three-year old Luke, and one-year old twins Isabelle and Grace. The 5-time Tour champ met his wife immediately after his first treatment of chemotherapy in 1997 and they've been together since.
