September 10, 2004 – Today, USPS’ Lance Armstrong announced he will not be riding at the San Francisco Grand Prix, due to an inflamed knee. Armstrong, the six-time Tour de France champion, was expected to be the star attraction at this year’s event in downtown San Fran. Armstrong cited a case of minor tendonitis to be the culprint. The man from Texas is still expected to be in attendance; he will cheer from the sidelines, instead.
