Anne Caroline Chausson Returns to Racing

January 11, 2007 – Anne Caroline Chausson dominated women’s DH and 4X MTB competition for years, before retiring from professional cycling in 2005. The only title missing from the flying Frenchwoman’s impressive résumé is an Olympic medal.

But now, with BMX debuting as an Olympic discipline at the 2008 Games in Beijing, she will get a chance to realize her dream of becoming an Olympic medalist.

With 12 DH World titles, four 4X World titles, three BMX World titles and countless other victories, Chausson could be a big contender in 2008.

On her personal web site, Chausson admitted Olympic qualification may be a long shot, as it has been 13 years since she’s competed in BMX. However, she will do her best to qualify for the French Olympic team.
