July 20 2002- AtlasCold/Italpasta’s field sprinter, 24 year old Andrew
Pinfold of Woodbridge, Ontario, certainly showed the field he can climb
too. In yesterday’s 700 metre hillclimb, Pinfold, recovering from intestinal problems, put a few seconds into
Saturn’s Mark McCormack (Saturn) to take the stage. In the women’s field,
former National Champion Sandy Espeseth took the stage over all-round
cyclist Manon Jutras (Rona) and top-class Individual Pursuiter Andrea Hannos (Rona).
