April 12, 2008 – Canadian strong man Andreas Hestler is the latest mountain biking star to enter the Baja Epic Mountain Bike epic race slated for November 5-8, starting and ending in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. Hestler, whose achievements include 2-time Canadian National champ, 3-time National Series champ and 2-time Trans Rockies series champ is arguably one of the greatest male mountain bike racers to ever come out of Canada. He is also the organizer of the BC Bike Race. A multi day stage race through British Columbia.

Baja Epic promoters commented, “We are thrilled to have Andreas in and part of the field. He’s a great racer who’s really shined in these stage races. This should be a very good field for the inaugural event”.
