June 6, 2004 – Francisco Ventoso Alberdi (Prodir-Saunier Duval) took a
surprise win today at the USPRO Championships in downtown Philadelphia,
outgunning Antonio Bucciero (Saeco) and Canada’s Gord Fraser (Health Net).
Top American was Fred Rodriguez (Acqua & Sapone), giving him the
stars-and-stripes jersey for the third time in four years. Michael Barry’s
