January 10, 2007 – The Alberta Bicycle Association will be hosting a number of National Coaching Certification Program courses this winter and spring.

The first course on offer is “Level 2 Core — Theory and Methodology of Training”, coming up February 3-4 in Calgary. This is classroom-based course (no riding involved) dealing with the physiological aspects of training for all cycling disciplines.

Please note — 2007 will be the final year “old” NCCP technical courses for cycling will be offered. New NCCP courses for cycling will be rolled out in 2008.
