May 25, 2006 – Unfortunately, due to the enormous amount of rainfall along with swollen rivers and streams surrounding the Grand Forks BMX track, we will be unable to host the ABA Borderline Nationals at Grand Forks BMX June 2-4th. The Grand Forks club and Laddie Rich did everything in their power to host the event, however, today they were informed by the City of Grand Forks that the event could not take place for multiple reasons. Fortunately, Langley BMX in Langley, BC has stepped up and offered to host this prestigious event. Langley has received a minimum amount of rainfall, the track has just been rebuilt by ABA National Track Builder, Billy Allen, and is in great shape. The Borderline Nationals will take place as scheduled June 2-4th at Langley BMX. Listed below are local hotels.
The ABA and Grand Forks BMX are extremely apologetic about the inconvenience, but hope to see you in Langley.
