November 12, 2005 — The American Bicycle Association is pleased to announce the 2006 Canadian National Championship Series sponsored by GT, Mongoose, Schwinn, FLY Racing and Tangent. Their participation will make the 2006 Series the best ever. This year the Canadian National Title Chase will be exciting as the #1 Amateur, #1 Girl and #1 Pro will each receive an awesome Freestyle Mountain Bike. These great awards retail for over $1,000 CAD.

ABA is also excited to welcome FLY Racing as a new title sponsor for 2006. FLY Racing will be providing additional awards for the Canadian National Champions, and Tangent will be supplying the coveted National and NAG number plates. This year’s Series will take riders across Canada to spectacular tracks, many of which have been built by ABA’s master track builder, Billy Allen.

This will be the first time the Series has visited Grand Forks and Prince George. Both tracks are extremely excited about the opportunity to host these great events for the first time and look forward to welcoming all the competitors and BMX families.

The 2006 Series will consist of seven events with a finale at Chilliwack’s beautiful Heritage Park, which will feature a custom built indoor track just for the Canadian Grands weekend. The 2006 Canadian National Championship Series will showcase great tracks, great competition and great awards.
