November 20, 2007 – The Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA) is pleased to announce the hiring two new sport coordinators.
Former Canadian Team Mountain Bike member and 2004 Canadian Cyclo-Cross Champion Roddi Legga will be taking on the role of Sport Coordinator (BMX and Mountain Bike). Roddi has been a member of the ABA for 12 years having organized numerous events in various disciplines of cycling over the past 5 years. Roddi has also been a contributor for Norco, Canadian Cyclist, and Alberta Spin Magazines.
Scott Kelly a long time competitive cyclist, mechanic, shop operator and journalist from Hamilton, Ontario is the new Sport Coordinator (Road, Track & Cyclo-Cross). Coming to the ABA with a Bachelors degree in Political Science from McMaster University Scott has been most recently involved with the Team Ontario cycling team as a mechanic and as a contributor to Pedal Magazine.
Both Roddi and Scott have a great passion for cycling and are looking forward to working with the ABA and our members.
