December 21, 2012 (Vancouver, B.C.) – Pedal has learned from reliable sources that unofficially, Wayne Pomario, President of the Cycling BC Board, has resigned. Unconfirmed reports also state that the organization is in massive financial debt in excess of $250,000 after hosting the BMX Supercross event in Abbotsford in September. Read more HERE.

Cycling BC’s recent AGM saw a record number of members attend the AGM on Dec. 2 and elect four new candidates to the board. All of the new board members subscribe to the Future of Cycling in B.C. group’s slate. The group was formed as a result of members’ discontent with the organization and its mandate is to affect positive change for cycling in the province. Find out more HERE.
