Featuring tight and technical courses designed by Glen Rendall and Greg Reain, the terrain will require a mix of strong power and excellent bike handing.
As always, there will be hot food available at the venue along with upbeat music and an announcer to keep the spectators informed and entertained — last year’s bunny-hopping barrier antics in the Elite men’s race provided plenty of thrills and spills.
New for 2012, these races join the competitive Southern Cup Cyclocross Series. Valuable points will be up for grabs for racers looking to do well in the overall standings.
The stage is set for a clash of Ontario’s best cross racers from Southern Ontario and the Ottawa region – plus some wild cards from Quebec!
Additionally, the Anvil on Foot will be held again this year – a roughly 6km running race held on the same course as the Anvil on November 11.
