March 14, 2009 (Aigle, Switzerland) – The UCI published a final list of the 36 teams participating in the Biological Passport Program this season after the teams paid their fees. All 18 ProTour teams as well as 18 Continental teams are included. In addition to the fees, participation in the program requires that all of the teams’ riders provide accurate whereabouts information, and that they submit to unannounced blood and urine tests in and out of competition.
