September 08, 2018 (Lenzerheide, SUI) – Team Canada’s Emily Batty won bronze and Haley Smith took home a breakthrough 6th-place finish in the Elite Women’s 29.4 km race that featured a Start loop + 6 laps today at the 2018 MTB Worlds in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The victory went to Kate Courtney (USA) who passed Annika Langvad (Denmark) on the final lap for the win in her first year as an Elite rider.
