(Saguenay, QC) – Here are the full results from the 75.5km Junior Women’s 5-lap road race where cadet rider, Adele Desgagnes (QC) Vélo Club Métropolitain – Quebecor, was crowned the new champ after Simone Boilard (QC) Équipe du Québec was disqualified at the finish for using the wrong gearing. Boilard had a 6+minute lead but Juniors must use specific gearing (52-14) as per UCI rules and it’s speculated that Boilard was using a 52-11 ratio.
