April 06, 2018 (Gold Coast, Australia) – Here are some results from day three where Team Canada’s Kinley Gibson finished eighth in the women’s Points Race following a bold attack on the Anna Meares Velodrome. In the women’s 500 metre time trial Lauriane Genest claimed ninth followed by Amelia Walsh in tenth. Canadian sprinters Hugo Barrette and Stefan Ritter qualified to the 1/8 finals but did not advance. In the men’s Scratch Race both Michael Foley and Aidan Caves qualified to the final but did not finish.
