September 17, 2017 (Bergen, Norway) – Team Sunweb claimed a remarkable double winning the men’s 42.5km Team Time Trial at the 2017 UCI Road World Championships only hours after their female counterparts won the women’s TTT.

The squad consisting of Tom Dumoulin, Lennard Kamna, Wilco Kelderman, Soren Kragh Andersen, Michael Matthews and Sam Oomen bested powerhouses BMC Racing Team in second with Team Sky landing 3rd on the final podium. Orica-Scott with Canada’s Svein Tuft ended up 5th.
